| Nick Nairn presents healthyliving awards Over 200 caterers were presented with their healthyliving award certificates by well-known chef and TV personality Nick Nairn, on 11th May. The ceremony took place in the prestigious surroundings of Perth Concert Hall, and three separate sessions were held throughout the day to accommodate the large number of award-winning establishments attending. Nick Nairn spoke in praise of the healthyliving award before opening up the floor to questions from the knowledgeable audience of caterers and guests. These he answered eloquently, showing his support and personal commitment to healthier eating. Speakers from the Scottish Government also congratulated the award holders on their achievement. |  |
Each award winner was invited onto the platform to receive their certificate and have their photo taken with Nick, who also posed for a group photo at the end of each session. Our picture shows Nick with healthyliving award Project Manager Claire Brown, who introduced the ceremony. Establishments being presented with awards ranged from a small B&B to large scale workplace restaurants, and included a cook school, an offshore platform, a museum, an Indian restaurant, a prison and a chain of pizza shops to name just a few of the wide variety of establishments represented.
