Over 440 establishments from around Scotland have now registered for the healthyliving award, with 52 having now successfully attained the award. The healthyliving award team have been delighted with the response to the scheme and would like to send their congratulations to all award winners.

Awards – two for one!

February saw the launch of the new Healthy Working Lives (HWL) award, which includes a healthy eating component developed in consultation with the healthyliving award. The HWL award is designed to build on the success of the Scotland's Health at Work (SHAW) programme.

The new award encompasses a wide range of topics including health promotion, occupational health and safety, health and the environment, mental health and well-being, community involvement and employability.

Attainment of the healthyliving award will help businesses meet the practical aspects of the Healthy Working Lives healthy eating criteria. Businesses that are already working towards a HWL award or hold a SHAW award may be well on their way to satisfying healthyliving award criteria.
